Sharks : Rubber Yahoo 1983
Rubber Yahoo were recently pursued by the internet company YAHOO.com with claims that the band had infringed copyright laws. The logo (designed by Angus MacIntyre 1992) shows uncanny resemblance to the yahoo corporations designs but pre-date them.?!?! Hey guys there was no internet in the early 80’s.
Who’s rubbing whos yahoo up the wrong way then?

Lunar Eclipse West Scotland caught this morning from Govanhill, Glasgow.
What a beauty. Damn cold though and the drifting cloud cover denied us the last phase before dawn. Happy Solstice y’all.

Hey
This is what I got up to on my 1st nite off from fatherhood.
Turn Up at Berkeley2 rehearsal studios to see a room full of familiar and new faces. It;s already jumpings and SACE is sat, as was G’s dream surprise, behind the kit. Sace’ face!?! Woop Woop.
3 Hours later were on stage at the ABC2! And playing like ‘veteranary surgeons’.
Big up to Gman and Sace on the 40 BDay spectdracular. What a great day and nite. Thanks y’all.
Back to ma boy.

“I love the smell of nappies in the morning!”
Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore
Apocalpyse Now 1979
Francis Coppola.
quote:
Kilgore: Smell that? You smell that?
Lance: What?
Kilgore: Nappies, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.
[kneels]
Kilgore: I love the smell of nappies in the morning. You know, one time we had a [huge one], for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn’t find one of ‘em, not one stinkin’ [disposable]. The smell, you know that smell, the whole hill. Smelled like
[sniffing, pondering]
Kilgore: Baby lotion. Someday this war’s gonna end…
[suddenly walks off]
